ENROLLING FOR 2024

Limited places are available for Year 7-11. Exceptions may apply depending on student exits and individual circumstances (i.e., family relocations) and will be determined by the enrolment panel. If you are interested in a Semester 2 start, contact the Enrolment Team on 6043 5500.

 

ENROLLING FOR 2025

Applications submitted by Thursday 28 March, 2024 secured a Round 1 transition meeting in May.

 

Applications submitted from April onwards are considered in line with policy, procedures and our school’s capacity to support each child.

 

Transition meetings for Round 2 candidates take place in September, however a Waitlist may apply. Families accepted for Year 8-12 2025 start Monday 2 December 2024, and participate in our Commencement Program until Friday 13 December, students will commence the 2025 curriculum.Ìý

 

The last round of transition meetings will take place in late November, with each applicant to be reviewed by the enrolment panel, according to the enrolment criteria. Successful candidates from the last round of transition meetings start in Term 1, 2025.

Payment of an application fee is required.

STAGE 2

A link to Stage 2 ‘S2 Transition Information’ is issued after your first form is reviewed. Year 8-12 candidates will then be instructed to complete a Subject Plan. To appreciate how many subjects we offer, please .

Failure to submit any stage (and associated documentation) by the published deadline may impact on the College’s capacity to progress an enrolment, resulting in your application being placed in a later interview round – when fewer places are available and a Waitlist may apply. Submission of forms is NOT a guarantee of acceptance.

 

 

Tours

Missed our College Open Day? Enrolment tours take place 9.00 – 10:30 am on Mondays and are subject to demand through to December. Please ensure students and parents/carers have read the enrolment guide before attending the tour.

 

Families are advised to allow 5-10 minutes to find a park. We recommend trying to park on Silva Drive or behind the Wodonga Sport and Leisure Centre and allow five minutes to walk to reception, which is accessible via Bowman Court. If you are interested in a tour, please email enrolment@ccw.vic.edu.auÌýwith your preferred date, names of attendees and a contact number.

 

 

Transitioning

Once a place is accepted, families receive a comprehensive Transition Guide, and a sequence of emails preparing their family for their first day at Catholic College.

 

 

Open Day

Our annual Open Day was on Tuesday 5 March 2024. If you were unable to attend, please watch a of our school.

Buses

 

2025 ÌýÌýÌý If your child is eligible for bus allocation, a state government application form will be emailed to you in Term 3 if offered a Round 1 place. Round 2 – 3 candidates receive the form shortly after an offer is made.

Conveyance Allowance

 

This is a form of financial assistance to help with the cost of transporting students to their nearest appropriate denominational school.

 

Eligibility criteria Eligibility is determined by the Victorian Government, not the College. Students attending a non-government school, i.e Catholic College, must:

  • attend the nearest Catholic school appropriate to their year level
  • live 4.8km or more by the shortest practicable route from the school

Families living near Beechworth, Rutherglen or Chiltern should check which is their closest school: our College or Galen in Wangaratta. Use ‘Bing maps’ as a reference. The final determination for qualification is made by the Victorian Government through its Student Conveyance Allowance System – SCAS.

Families living in NSW

 

Families in NSW must lodge applications online via Transport NSW School Student Transfer Scheme: .
Failure to organise may result in your child being excluded from bus travel.

Uniform

 

CEW stands for Catholic Education Wodonga. CEW represents St Augustine’s, St Francis of Assisi, St Monica’s and ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP.

Alinta Apparel is the exclusive supplier to this CEW school community. All items, other than shoes and socks, must be purchased from Alinta Apparel. Visit the for more information.

 

 

2024 ÌýÌý Students wear the PE uniform and must source the full uniform by the beginning of Term 3 (if commencing mid-year).

 

2025 Year 7’s ÌýÌýÌý ÌýAlinta Apparel will contact families to book a fitting between October – December.

 

2025 Year 8-12 ÌýÌýÌý ÌýFamilies to contact Alinta Apparel. Students may wear the PE uniform for the Commencement Program, and source the full uniform by Term 1.
